The Nicest "Kids" in Town(1963)

non stop as it had to be...to "keep up" with the endless processing of somewhat sparse 'data" we had accumulated in Pulse ,ever changing pulse.with the peptides ,hormones and whatnot "graphing ' through our bio systems...
our still plasticized brain having to reset and reset itself...toward new reality
a new Point of View based upon our being steered toward a sense of "home"not based on our upbring or families but based on our selfhood and search for a complimentary
new home in a mate.
there are some who might have this new bio-chemical need in ourselves for a 'home away from home" by joining an organization, a fraternity or perhaps an agency -of some kind...
and others
Like Peggy Sue Pratt
who of determinant good breeding and genes that often "go" with such a breed.
sought "homeostasis"
intuitively by "finding" The Right Guy.
and there was no Right-er Guy for Peggy Sue Pratt than G.H. Peto...who Peggy Sue not only loved
but LIKED.
and I can assure you
that feeling on G.H. Peto's part could not be more in tow.
The union of Peggy Sue Pratt and G.H. Peto was Perfect Chemistry
.The couple ,in fact fit together in such a fashion...that it was said that bluebirds
and plants and shrubs of tropical nature that could not naturally grow in Memphis,Ohio
sprung about on nearly every square foot of Levittown like lawn of
The House of Peto.
there love -was  quite literally "Like a Heatwave"..
their love ...was quite like the" Paradise  of Mind" G.H Peto , a physicist
wanted to create artificially in the lab...of his employer
that was Mind Over Matter Amalgamated

The neighbors .of course. noticed the cactic and wild palm trees and other exotic branches of exotic nature.
not ever seen (or at least not spoken about ...which often become...quite the same thing)
in Memphis ,Ohio..
The neighbors also noticed (how could they not) that their dogs and their cats would often
run off and gather at The House of Peto as if to bask in the Peto's collective Emanations
not to mention the tropical birds that had begun nesting in an apple tree that grew apples
not only in the late summer but all through the winter as well.
The Petos at first attempted to mask these rather un-natural occurrences
from the neighbors by putting up all sorts of posts and fences and webbing over their landscape
as
the early 1960's was not about conspicuous conundrums

The Petos you see were so perfectly matched

some

symbiotic in bio chemistry and bio signal singularity

that the two of them quite literally lived

on Love Alone.

meaning that they did not have to even eat to subsists

Mrs .Peto ,of course bought groceries to appear less vexing to the

all seeing ...somewhat prying eyes of the neighborhood at large

and THIS was quite task

as word on high (if one believes the town gossip.and who really does not?)

that BOTH Peggy Sue Peto and G.H. Peto literally

emitted a  quite noticeable golden glow of radiant light whenever they appeared in each other's company...

  at the company G.H> Peto worked at -Mind Over Matter Amalgamated

rumour has it so "beamingly"

light hearted since marrying his beloved Peggy Sue that (it has been said )

that G.H. Peto's feet often quite literally did not touch the ground.

However his "lightness of beingship"

did not stop G.H> Peto from functioning in Real World capacity in the slightest...as G.H. loved his work ,both biological and computational in nature at Mind over Matter Amalgamated

attempting to create models and paradigms for

Human Computer Interaction that might "one day" enhance a human being's mood and thinking style.

at Mind Over Matter Amalgamated there were 2 different "teams" of workers

developing theorems and experiments based upon theorems and theoreticals

for A.I. research and development

One Team worked on what was called "The Bright  Side" Programs

and the Other Team on "The Dark Half"Program.

of course you know what team G.H. worked on don't you?

             oh how I hated

               watching this "team" smile and slap each other on the back

                   all day..attempting to devise

                          programs not yet quite applicable technologically speaking quite yet

                              to imbue by wave and pulsed directed energies upon another 's

                                 nervous system

                                          Joy and happiness.

especially

when

 there was so much damage this type of scientific exploration could do NOT just upon an individual

but alas an entire population

                  in time.

Mind over Matter Amalgamated not only worked on electronic Mind Augment Technology

but also Pharmacological /chemical based agents that could also alter another

s behavior *

.and it was my job

my specialty ,in fact to practice using BOTH pharmacological and technological agents

together  

as to properly  alter,split or detroy another's personality..or core self.
