In the late 1990's several different well known companies and some select groups (including  what some might refer to as hate groups and 'fringe groups')were given equipment to test A.I. on uninformed citizens under the guise of using the technology to induce either punitive  or therapeutic impact.Each group or 'hive" was told they could "make up' or use their current methods of reproach and reprisal "to teach their "mentees" (subjects)lessons in respecting themselves and authority"
(many subjects appointed  to "Mentors" who were given Emotive headsets that were "souped up" (modified) to engage in mind to mind interface or assisted Brain Computer interface based on encoded thought transcription techniques were told
that their subject who had been embed with nano scales biosensors via injection had  either subjugated authority or committed crimes against "the state" .Many who were placed in the test because indeed were used because they did in fact have  criminal or anti authority tendencies"(many subjects,in the tests indeed were drug addicts ,prostitutes and vagrants with some criminal history many however were not),Besides BCI some groups were also given helmets that could induce 5 sense Overlay ,engaging not only  the subject's mind but their  perceptions.The Immersive Reality Technology essentially gave the Tele-Operator powers over another usually associated with either a god or a supernatural "communion" in fact the Tele-Operator was told to present "the event" of Open Mind Technology to the subject as a "visitation" by either an angel or alien acts .This technology also called synthetic telepathy enables the Operator to both encode another's brain waves into language(mind read) and  the Impart technology (similar to google Glass's "bone conductive hearing" system )allows "the Tele-Operator" to essentially  "write" on a subject's mind.

These groups and /or companies were  given free license 'to play" with this machinery as they saw fit.
In advance many of the matches(mentor/mentee) were deliberately  set to be hostile ,given personality type and or belief system. As implications for BCI ,A.I. and Immersive Reality being used to hurt another albeit in a Hand's Off regard .The Mentor was told to explore all methods of persuasion and condemnation to "see how it might work" concerning interrogation methodology .
The Mentors were treated well with accolades that have entered "unknown territory"

"... It is important for contractors and developers to 'bring" the testing out in the field" where it might be used by nefarious persons against another(name with held)..it is also important to see if this technology that could  absolutely controls another person would instigate a paid operator to use the equipment to either help the individual they were working with or hurt them{2}
 Very much like the Turing Tests (1950)at onset because the subject is not informed of the "project" or the  technology .. Initially the subject is made unaware of the nature of the communication(is it supernatural in nature?is it insanity?)
