It could be contended that if a blog were solely prompted by and intended for researchers to scrutinize the 'disturbed psyches' of individuals with a blend of personality and mental ailments, and if these self-reported diaries were exclusively perused by clinicians (and a handful of RT online users who may happen upon the document that provides them with nothing but a rambling depiction of a patient's ordinary ruminations on their mental condition, who one presumes promptly lose interest in pursuing the patient journal), the issue of online reputation becomes irrelevant, as, for all intents and purposes, the patient is not really 'online' at all'.
