Social media has become a ubiquitous part of modern life, with social networking sites like Facebook and Twitter being the most popular platforms. These sites allow users to create online profiles and share personal and professional information through various forms of media, such as photos and videos. Unfortunately, criminals have also taken advantage of these platforms to exploit users financial gain or worse, playing with vulnerable users for the 'fun of it." In some cases, they even prey on vulnerable individuals with serious mental health issues, such as schizophrenia, by convincing them that their voices are the result of advanced technology, to watch the distressed user become more out of touch with reality as weeks, months and even years pass.
