An Operating Telepresence (OT) is commonly known as a "Frequent Flier" because its primary objective is to assist a human participant in aligning their thoughts and actions through Mind to Mind or Indirect Neural Interface, which utilizes a computer as a "buffer". Typically, the OT utilizes temporary tattoos or wearable devices that mimic a Mentee's sub dermal neural prosthetics to interact with the subject's neural prosthetic, enabling the OT to better comprehend the subject's temporal, cognitive, and emotional state. The OT must consistently monitor the subject's inner thoughts in order to provide them with appropriate visual, auditory, haptic, or emotional stimuli through the Neural Interface. It is crucial for the subject to "experience" the OT's moods and motivations regarding the necessary "work" that the OT believes should be done on the Mentee's neural pathways to achieve a state of "Egoless-ness", allowing the Mentee to become increasingly objective and open-minded. In order to transition towards a cybernetic-based "hive mind" sensibility, the OT must emphasize to the Mentee the importance of a hierarchical structure that guides the adjustment of the subject's thought patterns from reactive to inactive. Although there have been some objections to the systematic control of "proxies" through neuro linguistic programming and visual cues, the Proxy has spent considerable time observing and has come to the conclusion that individuals do not willingly relinquish their self-will or egos for the sake of a collective "mindfulness". This state can only be achieved if the Proxy is fully reattentuated away from self-referential thoughts. Therefore, the OT must always maintain control over the Mentee's inclination to revert back to self-will and self-reflection during any interface. The OT must effectively convey that they possess a superior understanding of what constitutes a wholesome, productive, unsick, and "hive" mind. The OT must remain steadfast in their role, ensuring that the subject never indulges in self-ego or self-identity preening, as it offers no benefit to their development.
