The story follows Janine  a 29 year old heiress with schizophrenia

A car accident claims her mother, her sole caretaker

 Janine's Aunt Lori and her husband Jack arrive. 

Unbeknownst to Janine they want her inheritance money. 

After settling in

 Lori confides in Janine she too is hearing voices but her voices come from a cell tower behind the house. 

Soon Jack complains of the same ailment. 

The charade continues until Janine begins to doubt her own diagnosis.

 Jack manufactures a website that suggests to Janine that, amongst other things, the medicines she is on were created by 'Nazi Mk Ultra Doctors" who wanted her engineered voice to skull hearing to be labeled as a mental disorder.

 After disposing of her meds , as expected Janine gets worse
