Current laws treat privacy as the cornerstone of digital disability protections, assuming it alone protects mentally ill users. But that’s an absurd, outdated, and dangerous premise. It ignores how online groups promoting "mind control" conspiracies specifically target voice hearers, urging them to do the opposite of protecting privacy. Schizophrenic users are often encouraged to film neighbors, post intimate details about family members, and treat everyone around them as potential agents of control.
