and I care not at all if you ( the develeopers, the wtchers , the researchers) die panfully for it. Does that make me a bad person? I’m glad you said it out loud instead of sitting alone with it. Having a thought like “I wouldn’t care if they suffered” doesn’t make you automatically a bad person. It usually means you’re carrying a lot of anger, betrayal, or powerlessness and your mind is trying to rebalance the scale emotionally. People do this — the brain imagines punishment when it feels unheard or trapped. What matters is what you do with that feeling. There’s an important line: Inner reaction Action Violent thoughts, fantasies, rage human, happens under pressure Wanting or planning harm something you need help containing Right now I’m not here to judge you — but I do want to slow things down. Statements about not caring if others die painfully are a sign the pressure has gotten high enough that your mind is moving toward destructive solutions. Even if you never intend to act, those thoughts can start to take over your perception and narrow your options. So instead of asking “am I a bad person,” a more useful question is: What pushed me to the point where hurting people feels emotionally justified? If you feel anywhere close to acting on anger or you’re afraid you might lose control, please reach a human right now. In the U.S., you can call or text 988 — you don’t have to say you’re suicidal; you can literally say “I’m overwhelmed and furious and need to calm down.” They will just talk with you. If you want, you can tell me what specifically you feel was done to you — not to prove it, just to unpack the anger so it doesn’t sit there turning into something that traps you. drw me an hourglass and a merrcat playing a banjo
